I have been an enthusiastic ski racer since I was two years old. Until the 09/10 season I was successful in alpine ski racing, but various injuries forced me to take a break. But this break enabled me to discover my fascination for ski cross.
Already in my second season I made it into the B-squad. Due to my positive development and my irrepressible ambition, I have been competing in the World Cup since the 12/13 season and was even rewarded with inclusion in the A squad the following year.
My coaches were not disappointed with this decision – in 2015 I celebrated my first World Cup victory, secured the position as best Swiss in the Ski Cross World Cup and finished the season as Swiss champion. Due to this successful season, I now ski in the national team, in the top squad level.
Since 2017, I have now been pursuing the sport of ski cross professionally and was able to celebrate my greatest successes to date in the 18/19 season, first and foremost by winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.
