Jansen AG, founded in 1923 and based in Oberriet, develops, manufactures, and distributes sophisticated steel profile systems and plastic products for various sectors of the building industry. Together with our German partner Schüco, we offer complete aluminium solutions to architects and fabricators. In Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, Jansen has been Schüco’s exclusive licensee for the entire range of aluminium window, door, and facade systems since 1978. As of January 2021, Jansen AG took over the Welser Profile Group’s subsidiary RP Technik GmbH, also a system provider of steel solutions for facades, windows, and doors. Also as of January 2021, Jansen started a strategic cooperation with SFS in the window sector regarding the CONNEX wood-metal window system. Jansen acts as a system provider and concentrates on product development. SFS is now the exclusive partner for Jansen’s CONNEX brand. As of April 2021, Jansen handed over its automotive supply business to Mubea. To date, the Jansen Group is 100% family-owned and employs around 600 people internationally.
Systems for doors, gates, windows, and facades
Jansen has advanced globally to become one of the leading and favoured partners for profile systems for windows, doors, and facades as well as folding and sliding doors made of steel and stainless steel. With a product range that includes thermally insulated and non-insulated door and window systems as well as facade and fire protection systems, Jansen profile systems offer sophisticated standard solutions in steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and wood, thus covering complex special requirements in equal measure. In doing so, form and function form a perfect unit for individual solutions. As part of the architecture and metal construction industry, we convince architects, investors, and fabricators worldwide and work consistently on the further development of our steel profile systems. Specialities such as highly effective fire protection products and special geometries are also highly valued by us. We bring our expertise to projects in a practice-oriented manner and achieve important progress by means of early customer communication and intensive discussion of customer wishes. Topic-specific content such as ‘safety’ is examined in detail and published by means of well-founded content such as ‘health and well-being’, ‘protection against external violence’ and ‘technical safety’. In the area of services, Jansen is excellently positioned and offers a wide range of services for order and planning, workshop and machine, maintenance and service, as well as training.
Jansen is engaged in various areas, i.e. for young talents in the architecture scene and has supported the international ‘YTAA’ Young Talent Architect Award for several years. The Jansen brand stands for Swiss quality, leadership, and innovation.

In the area of plastic solutions, the product portfolio includes systems for geothermal energy, building services and piping systems. Technologies such as coating processes and multi-layer extrusion are our speciality. Thanks to many years of expertise in plastic extrusion, high-quality systems, engineering and consulting, Jansen has become a leading solution and system provider with a high degree of innovation. The versatile solutions in these segments guarantee long-term quality, reliability, safety, and economy – even under extreme conditions.
The production site in Oberriet represents the responsible positioning to the location Switzerland. State-of-the-art production facilities and continuous investment in quality assurance and employees make Jansen products synonymous with Swiss quality and innovation worldwide. Jansen trains around 50 apprentices in 10 different professions.
