RVT – a success story
RVT Versicherungs-Treuhand AG was founded in Oberriet in 1994 Today, clients in the Rhine Valley region are still served from the Oberriet office. We serve SMEs and public institutions in the areas of risk management, employee benefits and all other insurance matters. This also includes the complete claims service. We work on a mandate basis for our clients and form a large purchasing group with them, which makes it possible to negotiate a better price/performance ratio with the insurance companies.
Our clients thus receive a comprehensive service from us as insurance brokers and administrative relief in their insurance jungle. Entrepreneurs and managers can therefore concentrate on their core tasks and competences.
The opening of the St. Gallen branch office in August 2020 was certainly a milestone in the history of RVT. With 5 employees at the St. Gallen location, customers in the Fürstenland-Bodensee region and in the cantons of Appenzell Inner- and Ausserrhoden are primarily served.
RVT now employs a total of 25 people and achieves an annual turnover of around CHF 4 million. At the beginning of 2021, the merger with Arbenz + Partner AG from Frauenfeld was announced. In 2022, we will thus grow together to become the largest independent insurance broker in Eastern Switzerland and will continue to serve our customers with our three locations in Frauenfeld, St. Gallen and Oberriet. . As a result of the merger, the new company will employ over 60 people. A turnover of over CHF 10 million is targeted.
A new joint market presence with a new logo, new homepage and new customer documents will also be launched in summer 2022. We aim to continue the best of both companies for the future, so that our customers continue to receive a first-class service. However, our customers will continue to be served by their previous contact persons. With this merger, however, the succession arrangements of the founding generations will also be continued in both companies and the sceptre will be handed over to younger managers.
We want to continue with the tried and tested, but also consistently drive forward the digitalisation of our company. Our aim is to continue to be an attractive employer in the market and to provide our customers with the best possible and up-to-date service.
