Since the company was founded in 1955, Oertli has developed from a workshop for surgical instruments into one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment and instruments in ophthalmic surgery. Oertli’s history is rich in innovations, highlights, and scientific successes.
Over the past decades, Oertli has contributed significantly to technical progress with numerous innovations, patented procedures, and a consistent focus on quality. Focusing on our core competencies and a high level of interdisciplinary knowledge are central aspects of our success. Today, we are masters in the development, production, and distribution of complex electronic control units, highly precise micro-instruments and sterile surgical accessories. Over 180 employees work at our production site in Berneck in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. And ensure every day that the success story continues to be written.
